Notes and cultural goodies from the Editor

Cruising for Art @ The V'n'A 27th of Nov. '09 BE THERE!

Welcome to Qulturelink, the only online network dedicated to Queer Arts and Resources in London.

It's a place to network, raise issues, have discussions with like minded individuals so you don't feel so left out in the cold. It's also a place to promote your events and yourselves.

Qulturelink is self perpetuating and monitored rarely by the editor- just to be sure. Keep it clean and keep it relevant. If you have any requests, comments, moans etc, please contact Benjamin (member/administrator) and he will do his best to sort it out.

♥♥ NO BOUNDARIES @ Oval House Theatre – THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THEATRE AND CABARET♥♥
The relationship between theatre and cabaret.
2.30 – 6.30pm Friday 13th November 2009 at Oval House Theatre
Hosted by Tim Redfern.

This is a workshop event for artists, programmers and venues working
within cabaret, theatre and burlesque.

We intend to offer an open space for practitioners to discuss working
methods, process and long-term goals. We are particularly interested
in artists transitioning between different artforms, especially those
interested in the journey from cabaret to theatre.

What are the challenges of this transition? How does it impact on
audiences? How do we sustain radical work? Who is the audience?

We hope that the event will encourage producers, artists and venue
managers to share the challenges of staging work and find solutions to
common difficulties within the sector.
The day will include a series of lively workshop exercises intended to
challenge, inform and debate.

We would like to invite you to join us as we explore and develop ideas.

Places are free and are offered on a first come first served basis.
There is limited capacity. Please book by sending an email to

If you see someone with a matching handkerchief, your eye contact, your smile, your wink may start a wild journey or an intimate conversation. If you wink at someone who is not one of the performers, Who Knows, you may still make meaningful contact with a stranger
